Дорогі Учасники й Приятелі Громади Покрови Пресвятої Богородиці!

Вже скоро рік 2011-ий добігає до свого завершення і я, за довголітнім звичаєм, виїжджаю в Альберту побути з родиною, відсвіжити свої коріння в лоні родини, з якої я виходжу в широкий Божий світ.

Та насправді в мене, як я усвідомлюю нашою Вірою Православною – безмірно велика родина. Усі Ви – також у цій родині. Наша Віра каже, що всюди, де сходяться люди в Парафїї, щоб звершити Святе Таїнство Євхаристії під проводом Священика, з благословення Єпископа, який в сопричасті зо всіма іншими Єпископами – там повністю Церква Христова. Оселя Божа з людьми. Вічна, безкінечна, блаженна Родина.

Оце й ми з Вами в цьому винограднику, що присвячується Покрові Пресвятої Богородиці. І дякуємо ми Господеві, що дав нам ще й цей рік, що завершується,  щасливо перебути на цьому Божому світі. Дехто від нас уже переселився з цього дочасного у вічний світ, не перериваючи вічний зв'язок з нами, що ще відбуваємо цю земну мандрівку.

Запрошуємо Вас зібратися разом у святочній та вдячній радості з приводу святкувань Народження та Хрещення нашого Господа. Прилучую порядок Відправ на цей святочний час і  сердечно запрошую до участи в нашій Спільній Куті у другу Неділю по Різдві, 15-го січня, по Літургії.

Dear Members and Friends of the Hromada of St. Mary the Protectress:

The year of the Lord 2011 is quickly arriving at its culmination and I, in keeping with a tradition going back many years, am about to depart for Alberta to be with my family, to refresh my roots in the matrix from which I emerge into God’s vast world.

Yet, truly, as I discover more and more fully through our Orthodox Faith – my family is absolutely huge! All of you are also part of this family. Our Faith proclaims that everywhere that people gather in a Parish to celebrate the Mystery of the Holy Eucharist, led by a Priest, with the blessing of a Bishop who is communion with all other Bishops – there is the fullness of Christ’s Church. God’s Habitation with us. An eternal, boundless, blessed Family.

We, too, are this in the Lord’s Vineyard which is dedicated to St. Mary the Protrectress. And we do thank the Lord Whо has granted us to live through this year which is arriving at its full measure in His world. Some of us have already transited from this temporal world into the eternal one, yet without breaking the link with us who still continue this earthly voyage.

We invite you to gather with us in festive and grateful joy as we celebrate the Nativity and Baptism of our Lord. The order of Services for this time of festival is attached. We also invite you to take part in our Spil’na Kutia – Christmas Lunch on the second Sunday after Nativity, January 15, after the Liturgy.

We also thank your for your prayerful and financial support of the Church. If you are not yet a committed member of our (our another) Parish, we urge you to fill out a membership application and commit yourself to annual dues.
